Please bring all your pill bottles to appointments, including over-the-counter medicines and supplements. Before you leave your visit, we need to make sure you have enough of all of your medicines to last at least until your next visit. Medication refills are best done during an appointment.
If you do run out of a medicine before your next visit, we prefer that you send a refill request through the patient portal . You also can leave your doctor a voice message. When requesting a refill, please be sure to tell us the name of the medicine, the dose, how you take it, and your pharmacy. Please give us at least 2 business days to send in your prescription.
If you cannot make your appointment, please call and inform us so other patients have the opportunity to utilize this time.
$15 fee for bounced checks.
$15 fee for bills not paid after 45 days without contacting us.
Narcotic medications are difficult to regulate and can be addictive. We avoid their use whenever possible, typically limiting them to terminal or end-stage conditions. There are other controlled substances including benzodiazepines and stimulants. These all have potentially serious adverse effects and use is avoided. Patients who require control substances will be asked to sign an agreement with me. No controlled substances are kept at this office.
